David Schlotterbeck, Former Chairman and CEO, CareFusion Corporation

Mr. Schlotterbeck most recently retired as the Chairman and CEO of CareFusion Corporation, the 5th largest medical technology company in the world.

Mr. Schlotterbeck is best known for leading the split of Cardinal Health into its core business and CareFusion. This required creating all the new company's governance from scratch, but simultaneously building a board and developing board member profiles that would be the most constructive for the new company and him.

Over a twelve-year period starting with Alaris Medical Systems (it's sale to Cardinal Health), splitting Cardinal into Cardinal and CareFusion, and value gains at CareFusion following going public, Schlotterbeck created $11 billion in shareholder value.

Mr. Schlotterbeck has both undergraduate and graduate degrees in electrical engineering.
